"We've also cut down the time between you getting notified of your test result and us getting notified of that test result," he said, foreshadowing the government was going to release the data publicly.He attributed people who were still waiting to be contacted as potentially people who were not considered close contacts or people who had incorrect phone numbers listed.

Katarina Arandjelovic, an anaesthetic registrar, said she had worked 56 hours over four days and left at 10pm on Monday to find a fine from Melbourne City Council inspectors. "Vehicles parked in residential parking areas with red signs are still subject to restrictions," a spokeswoman said. "I have contacted our CEO because this rests with him. I want to ensure that the parking permit system we put in place protects all the people who are sacrificing so much for us right now," Cr Wood said.
