Mohd Hairil Izzuan A. Samad, 41, was accused of murdering Maizatulniza Othman near Tasik Cyber, Jalan Persiaran Sepang Cyber, between 11am on July 29 and 1am on July 30.No plea was recorded.This prompted magistrate Ayuni Izzaty Sulaiman to ask whether the accused's family has been informed.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Nurul Faraheen Yahaya said the family has been informed, but were not in court on Tuesday. She said the investigating officer will be instructed to inform the family on how to obtain a lawyer.The accused, a volunteer with a non-governmental organisation , was previously remanded from July 31.
