Quick calculation of how much 'life' has been given up in order to save 'lives'. 331,002,651 (US population) x 5/12 year (Mar to Aug) = 137,917,771 years ÷ 78.5 year (avg lifespan) = 1,756,914 lifetimes of life given up.

Flu vaccine effective rate 35-40%. Dr. Fauci 3 days ago 'Covid 19 vaccine effective rate could be 50%' The chance of it being highly effective is not great' So if teachers have worked during cold and flu season, they can work during covid season.

I don't blame teachers during this time shouldn't be required to teach and the kids should not have to go to school

I’m a substitute teacher in Arizona. I’m sitting this year out.

I have a detailed blog related to school reopenings. Here is sample of some entries -North Paulding School, GA will shut down for -80+ students in Putnam County, TN are quarantined -With 65 of TN's school districts reopened, 39+ cases are linked to school

C’mon ma is that a teacher or a pediatrician ?

Ever teacher should retire now because of this brave soul!!!! Come on

Bet she's Pro Abortion, though.

If I told you that you would stop your life for a virus where 50% of deaths are in Long Term Care, the average age of death is 75, and 87% of involve underlying conditions, you would laugh. So unless you are very old, or very sick, you need to start thinking about living again.

Pathetic. Acting like its actually worse than the common flu

Every time a leftist teacher retires an angel gets its wings.

She is incorrect. The mortality rate in healthy children is low like the flu, and treatments improve all the time. The AmerAcadPeds suggests more children would die from closures, than by openings.

One less left wing teacher ruining the lives of kids gone... Bye!
