The Education Minister says the temporary scheme has fulfilled its purpose, but the childcare sector is not going back to normal just yet.

Notice that Dan Tehan said this morning that no one could have imagined 2 months ago we would be where we are now (ie COVID19 close to eradicated). Meanwhile, NZ lifts economy restrictions after COVID19 eradicated by PM Jacinda Ardern. auspol ABCNews

GOOD!!! Tax payers can't be supporting 'parenting outsourcing business' forever, it should be considered luxury and not a necessity. Otherwise, it would be another catalyst to push society into socialist dystopia.

You’d think if the government was REALLY serious about kickstarting the economy again, they’d see subsidised childcare as being important. A lot of people, especially women, would like to get back to work but can’t because they can’t afford childcare and have to stay at home.

It’s not free taxpayers are paying for it.

Scotty's already 'snap back' to NeoLiberal dystopia? This happened even before we got to enjoy his 'pop up' socialism. ScottyFromMarketting LiarFromTheShire
