Stay calm and be accurate in your explanations
Teach them how to wash their hands . Discuss what will happen when they arrive at school when they come home. Give them time to digest it all. Above all, speak with calmness and knowledge.They haven’t seen their friends for over two months, and if your children are anything like mine, they will want to hug, high five and sit close to their friends. Have a conversation with your children about social distancing and how they can actually do it. In addition, role model this change with them.
Know what your options are regarding schooling. What is the underlining reason to send kids back to school so soon? Experiment? Parents can’t cope? What is the state going to say when our children start to get sick,or worse? Why can’t SA use virtual learning? Or distance learning modalities? save the children

And they expect us to pay 4 months of school fees 4xR3000 for a Gr5 in a public school with limited service? Why not have morning sessions, say 7am to 12 midday (for half the grades and then 1pm to 5pm for the second half of grades.Will reduce mixing and also congestion from traffic. Kids can all get back to school earlier?
