Trump will ‘hit out and challenge fake news when he hears it’ | Sky News Australia

Sky News host Chris Kenny says US President Donald Trump always “hits back at the media calls out fake news” and now has a new press secretary who is an “impressive operator” working alongside him. Mr Kenny said while the United States has “paid a heavy price” throughout the coronavirus pandemic, it is “often exaggerated because of the politics, because of the attempts to blame Trump”.

“For instance, when it comes to the death rate, Spain, Italy, the UK, France, Belgium and other countries have far more deaths as a share of their populations, their death rates are around twice as high as the US,” he said. Mr Kenny also said President Trump’s new press secretary Kayleigh McEnany “is already having an impact”. She is a mother, a former political commentator and analyst on Fox News and CNN, is only 32 years old and was educated at Harvard Law School and Oxford.
