“We must take all necessary precautions to protect our people, especially our children, from this disease,” he said, adding that there is an urgent need to implement proactive measures to help prevent transmission of COVID-19. The local government of Navotas announced on Saturday the suspension of classes in all levels, both in public and private schools, on Monday, March 9, in the city.The suspension of classes, according to him, was part of the preventive measures being taken by the city against the COVID-19.
