ShekuKM First off his name is Sheku

Bravo, Sheku Kanneh-Mason. It is very difficult to speak out and to speak out for change.

You title while leaving out his name

ShekuKM Inspiring more people of all backgrounds to play musical instruments is a good thing.

ShekuKM Excellent and so important; extra funding for music education is very much needed...and not just in Britain.

Diversity means anti-white. Every time I see it, it’s a complaint about there being too many white/European people in a certain field. It also correlates with the amount of blacks. There are many Asian performers in classical music, but it always comes back to a lack of blacks.

LOL wherever they go, the need to complain consistent. Next it will be “The lack of POC composers being played”. Sorry honey, Mozart is just superior to your “composer” of the week.

Makes sense, he only got the wedding gig and subsequent fame for diversity reasons, but interesting he says this considering he has been part of an exclusively non-White Orchestra.

Oh, go look at any Top 100 list and see how many of the artists are white (proportionate to, example, the U.S. population)

Not gonna lie chief, don’t care
