I can see this all through this school year. I understand the protesting but enough is enough the kids are the ones going to lose and not just the Government doing.

They’re certainly making enough to buy groceries! One effect of never hearing the word no and that extends to all aspects of the cushioned lifestyle they have become accustomed to. Go teach and appreciate your enviable station in life...

Cheering for a Strike!? Teachers!? Trying to stick it to the government but in reality sticking it to the kids.

Has anyone else recognized how increadibly unhealthy this mob of teachers are? Holy MASS abuse of our healthcare system. This is the example we want for our children?

Fire them all and start over. Theyve created systematic indoctrination for children and cant be trusted to merely educate

Quality of education in Canada is behind the rest of the World; some teachers cannot do basic math. Taxpayers cannot not be expected to pay high price for low quality. Sadly, carelessness and greed are becoming increasingly rampant; strike during school year is one such example.

Look like those ones could use the exercise

Lol just want more and more money to indoctrinate children with liberal nazi policies

Has anyone else recognized how increadibly unhealthy this mob of teachers are? What school is this? And holy COWs. This is the example we want for our children?

Teachers, you are valued. We stand with you!

Kudos to Doug Ford for taking on these powerful unions. Last thing I believe is that unions care about the children

Legislate these greedy spoiled power hungry ingrates back to work.

Let them strike. If their wages were performance based they should be earning 50% less. Plus they vote liberal, destroying our economy ...... but they are entitled to be unaffected by their own bad choices..... ya ok

Essential service !

Stop this nonsense !

It's all about money - and Ontario doesn't have it to pay for what it's public service employee unions want.

completely close them all watch ford scatter to pay $60 to buy more votes

Until Ontario’s teachers will agree to stop socially engineering Ontario students and actually educate them - I vote keeping them on strike indefinitely.

Ontario elementary teachers announce latest round of strikes for ThursdayOne-day strikes will take place at the Avon-Maitland, Halton, Niagara and Lakehead school boards Enrollment decreases yet hires increase. These spoiled brats need to finally be put in their place. Legislate these greedy power hungy teachers back to work and fine the union until they have no money left. Change the bottom part of the flag to “my pay and benefits” and it would more accurately reflect their demands. Daycares should replace public schools...just as effective as the lousy public education system and much cheaper.....massive reform is required

Conrad Black: Ontario families deserve better than their so-called education systemTeachers have to stop swaddling their avarice and negligence in a fog of pious claptrap about putting the interests of the schoolchildren first Outside of a small portion whose support is ideological in nature most parental support for teachers unions is due to frustration and child care concerns caused by strikes that drag on not agreement with their demands. Deal with that and the ON government can sit them out They certainly deserve better than a bunch of greedy spoiled brats constantly holding children hostage while making on average $95000. I guess the same education system failed Conrad Black: taught him big, complex words but not the importance of personal integrity. A felon, convicted in the U. S. of stealing from friend and foe, is a poor source of information regarding what ails Ontario public education.
