Preparing to go back to school and searching for school supplies can be expensive. Here’s some events going on in Dothan that can help you and your kids be better prepared for the first day of school.

A child must be present at the event. The bash is Saturday, July 27, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church Dothan, 380 W. Main St.
Back to School Giveaway with Bin Diggin, July 27 and 28, from 10 a.m.On July 27 and 28, from 10 a.m. until supplies last, Bin Diggin is having a back-to-school giveaway at 2497 Montgomery Highway.Thirty backpacks with school supplies will be given out each day. Children must be present to receive a backpack.
