After Hurricane Beryl hammered the Greater Houston Area as a Category 1 storm, some school districts are shutting down again on Tuesday, July 9.HOUSTON — Hurricane Beryl left extensive damage across Southeast Texas and over 2.5 million homes, businesses and schools without power. "In order to ensure the safe return of our students and staff, we will remain closed on Tuesday, July 9.
"The district will remain closed Tuesday, July 9, as we continue to survey and assess damage due to Hurricane Beryl. Employees that are required to report to work tomorrow will be contacted directly by their supervisors. Please continue to monitor emails, text messages and social media for further updates."Humble ISD will be closed on Tuesday, July 9th, for buildings to be assessed and roadways to be cleared after the storm.
