Political views vary, but a theme has emerged among most voters

The Manchester Evening News has spoken to voters across Greater Manchester over the last weeks to find out how they are feeling about - and who they intend to vote for - ahead of the general election. Political views vary across our vast region where 27 parliamentary seats are up for grabs on Thursday .

In 2019, many Labour voters in Greater Manchester ditched lifelong allegiances to elect Conservative MPs for the first time. But promises to 'level up' are yet to be delivered. This phrase is not a new one. But more and more people seem to be saying it ahead of this general election.
