The Destiny Trust , a non-governmental organisation , has inaugurated a multimedia learning space for children in remote communities.
Athina Jeje, TDT’s chief operating officer, said in a statement that the learning centre is part of efforts to ensure that vulnerable children have access to quality education. “Each space is equipped with smart TVs or smart boards, learning tablets, high-speed internet, and access to a vast digital library available offline, making learning more effective, interactive, engaging, and accessible.“Additionally, teachers will receive intensive training on using technology in the classroom and maintaining the multimedia devices.”
“Our goal is to establish more of these learning spaces in underserved public schools and facilities serving orphans and vulnerable children,” she added.
