In a unanimous decision made during the June 12 SWISD Board Meeting, the Board of Trustees approved a plan to provide all necessary school supplies at no cost to parents of registered elementary and middle school students. This initiative will include customized, prepackaged school supply kits tailored specifically to teacher supply lists.

"We understand that back-to-school expenses can add up, and we want to relieve some of that stress for our families," said Jeanette Ball, Superintendent of Southwest ISD. "With this initiative, parents can focus on preparing their children for a successful academic year without the added burden of school supply costs."

Parents need only to register their children for the 2024-2025 school year to take advantage of this opportunity.
