Essex Police and paramedics dashed to a road near Debden Park High School in Loughton, Essex, after reports of a severe car crash involving a Ford Ka which 'mounted the pavement'

Police were called to an incident on Willingale Road, near to Debden Park High School in Loughton, Essex, at around 3.30pm.Witnesses at the scene have now reported "multiple children" being hit by a car, reports Essex Live .

“The car drove off down the road and the police arrived quickly. My daughter is safe, but the wing mirror clipped my daughter. Her friend got thrown off the bonnet.Loughton Town Councillor and former town Mayor, Stephen Murray, said: "This is very disturbing news to hear. Let's hope and pray for the very best outcomes when the picture clarifies."An Essex & Hertfordshire Air Ambulance has been spotted to have landed nearby.
