“Wana allegedly falsified invoices as if services were rendered and facilitated payments which were laundered through bank accounts of the service providers, Lowd Trading Enterprise and Ariona Trading 659.
“She was responsible for processing payments of hostel fees throughout the province of the Eastern Cape. She would transfer the funds to unsuspecting service providers on the department's database and later approach them for a refund, claiming they were erroneous payments.” The refunds were then deposited into different bank accounts and spent on purchasing property, among other things.
The matter was postponed to January 20 2020 for a regional court date. The accused were each granted bail of R10,000.
The big thieves are those who are employed and earning well. Nothing but gluttonous greed. I wish she/he gets 20yrs behind bars.
After jailing her they must attach the criminal's pension funds and whatever 'investments' she owns to recoup all the money she stole. They must even add interest, after all there's something called 'Time-Value Of Money'! That's how corruption must be fought
Some people can be so cold hearted, funds meant to feed needy kids just disappear
Nothing new the children must suffer while there families have big meals every day
Imagine these people steal food from hungry kids. Bread has no nutrition, but along with a meaty chicken soup it would be better.
This is not greed and corruption, I don't know what it is called yoh! Beyond disgusting, it's despicable!
Lead us Eastern Cape
The bar has been set low, the modus operandi continues
Sisngcoli esi, side sibe imali yokutya kwabantwana abahluphekileyo, mayibhantinte!
lyt_moon This is disgusting really 😓
Malnourishment and that thief are not in the same whatsapp group
But why,ayi... Now we even taking food out of kids mouths... I'm defeated.🤞🤞🤞🤐😤😤😔😔
People will still be voting anc in highest number than any other province in the country.
