Micah Tennant, 10, died on Wednesday after being shot at a New Jersey football game on Friday.

Atlantic County prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced that Micah Tennant, a fifth-grader from Atlantic City, succumbed to injuries from a gunshot wound to his neck on Wednesday.

The shooting occurred in the third quarter of a playoff game between Pleasantville and Camden high schools in Pleasantville, New Jersey. A 27-year-old man and 15-year-old boy were also reportedly injured in the shooting. Wyatt is one of five people arrested in connection with the shooting, which was reportedly motivated by a grudge.

Eagles host remainder of gameThe game was suspended with 17 minutes remaining and resumed on Wednesday at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field at the invitation of the Eagles.
