The 16-year-old gunman who killed two high school classmates and shot three other students before using his final bullet on himself has died at a hospital, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said Friday evening.[Previous story, published at 7:52 p.m. ET]After the gunshots began, and five students were hit, training kicked in for thousands of pupils stunned that gun violence they had once protested had invaded their Southern California campus.
"My main concern then was securing the scene, treating the victims, and trying to make sure there wasn't an additional shooter," Finn told reporters Friday.Finn, a former school resource deputy now with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, told an administrator to grab medical aid bags from the school office. A third off-duty officer and the current school resource officer assisted him in treating the victims until medical help arrived.
Or have some kind of TSA security 100 yards from the school conducting harassing search of faculty n students. No exceptions!!! Its cheaper n life saving

The shooting was I front of an elementary school, all those little kids are having nightmares of the inside. Therefore, it affected two schools, the higher school and elementary. The shooter was an athlete, with lots of friends there is no excuse for the kid

Shooter could have done it for many reason. Depression is a good bet. These kids today are being told that they don't have futures and world will end in 10 years. Have that on top of everyday high school life, it's enough to send many over the edge.

Certainly need to do much in depth study on what is happening with these young men the need to kill? There has to be some kind of correlation perhaps medication that was taken, abuse in child hood,single parent, violent video games?
This can be prevented with proper gun legislation. No kid under 18 should be able to get guns. Households with weapons must Keep the weapons locked up. GOP will not even pass common sense gun laws. The bill is in the Senate awaiting a vote. GOP killed more children.
