07/11/2019Daily Telegraph Opinion Editor James Morrow says the petition calling for the declaration of a climate emergency is signed by ‘climate cultists’ trying to enforce ‘their own socialist ideals’.
“It is just hilarious that all of these journalists are so eager to say ‘11,000 scientists have all said it's a climate emergency’ and they’ve just run with it and no one has thought to run a ruler down, say, 20 of them to see what sort of people we are talking about here,” Mr Morrow said. Mr Morrow stated that the petition also called for the destruction of capitalism.

I think that any petition that calls for something, should also be forced to provide a path to vote against it... Climate emergency, tell it to those in the Permian. Just because we live in a time when there is nothing to worry about, no need to make things up.
