LOOK: A student from the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) captured a stunning night sky during a blackout in Iloilo City. READ:

He uploaded the photos on his Facebook account that gathered thousand of likes and more than 800 shares.A power outage took place last October 29 in Iloilo City and several provinces.

According to Gascon, the appearance of the starry night sky started last year: “Na notice po namin since last year na nakikita talaga yung milky way as long as walang moon na present.” “Naka-set na din po kasi sa plano ko na magshoot by Oct 27 since new moon siya but umulan po that night and timing talaga na nag-brownout,” he added.“No photoshop used, pure camera magic,” he wrote on his Facebook post.
