Home owners 24-year-old Ainsley and 26-year-old Guy Lennard told 9News their 3-year-old daughter Lilam is still traumatised by the incident.

"We have to explain that's she's safe and that we've got a new house and that she can go to sleep and be okay." Offering background information to the magistrate, Mr Peluso said Hakami "came from a rural area in Saudi Arabia where they don't have drivers' licenses".Magistrate Robert Walker told the defence, Hakami had "no regard for the law," making it clear his client could be looking at a prison term of nine months.
