A Professor of English at the Federal University of Technology , Akure, Prof. Aborisade Adebayo, has raised the alarm on the continued migration from rural settlement to urban centres of the country.
The don spoke during the weekend at Oke-Mesi Ekiti at an economic development sensitisation programm, organised by ‘The Likes Group to mark the investiture of the new Mayor, Prince Isola Akingbade. He however blamed governments at all levels for the ugly trend, saying everything possible must be done to tackle it without further delay.
