Retirement community takes 'back to school' photos, offers advice: 'Be kind'

Residents at Riverview Retirement Community in Washington took their own"back to school" photos this year, and while they were at it, they offered the younger generation some sage advice.

"In the back to school spirit, our residents wanted to share some advice to all the kids who are headed to school this fall!" the community's Facebook post, which went live on Sept. 6, read. Meanwhile, Marlene, 83, told students to stay away from drugs and not to"drink too much... but have fun."
