Scientists claim to have found a way to stop cancer patients from losing their hair during chemotherapy

Hair follicles 'bathed' in anti-cancer drugs, CDK4/6 inhibitors, block cell division. Slowed or temporarily suspended multiplication of cells at base of hair follicles. Approach made hair follicles 'less susceptible' to chemo drugs called taxanes.
