A jury finds an 18-year-old man guilty of murdering Melbourne legal studies student Laa Chol in a short-stay apartment in Melbourne's CBD last year.

In the video, the accused youth is seen stepping back, retrieving a knife that was hidden in his clothes, and swinging his arm back to strike her.

"An intention can be formed instantly and acted on spontaneously — it can take a millisecond to form an intention to do something."During the trial, the teen's defence lawyer Sam Norton told the jury that his client was"innocent of murder".
