A DISGUSTED dad has slammed school bosses for serving “disgraceful” and “revolting” grey burgers to kids.
David, who has two sons, slammed catering firm Tayside Contracts for the “gross” lunch and promised his lads would never eat school dinners again.“We will be giving them packed lunches or have them come home now, because that is gross.“You can understand why the kids go to the chip shop or the bakers with that, it is gross beyond belief.”
Tayside Contracts, responsible for catering at the school, has now apologised for serving the terrible turkey patty.Carol Haxton, facilities business manager at the firm, said: “We produce over six million high quality school meals per year and our quality management systems and the skill levels of our cooks stand comparison with the very best.
At primary school kids are taught about nutrition & meals are pretty balanced & good value. Then they go to secondary where they only offer cheap carbs like pasta, pizza & chips - cookies & water all sold at big margins by contract catering firms . Schools aren’t about profit
Why don't they give them a proper dinner. Potatoes, meat and vegetables. That's how it used to be.

Sad that our kids are fed bad food and less real education but yet we can spend billions on illegals.
