An Alabama high school has removed some of the doors from its bathroom stalls in an effort to prevent students from vaping in campus bathrooms.this month the decision to remove some of the stall doors in the boys' bathroom was prompted by an incident two weeks ago in which a student, vaping in the bathroom, passed out. The high school is in Florence, in the northwest corner of the state.

Why not just lock the students and faculty out of all the bathrooms to begin with? Just put a squatty potty in the front row of every classroom so everyone can keep an eye on you to make sure you aren't vaping while you do your business?
Last I heard, school isn't supposed to be prison. Meaning, some things should continue to be private, using the bathroom is right at the top of the list! Hiw about just patrol them more often?

They removed the doors to the boys bathroom at the first high school I taught at in the 1970s. Nothing new. It didn't do then from smoking just made it easier for the staff to catch them
