Victoria’s Shadow Health Minister Georgie Crozier says the Andrews government “won’t understand the true impacts” to families of a Melbourne drug injecting room.

The supervised injecting facility is a one-minute walk from Richmond West Primary School and allows ice users to inject the drugs in a controlled environment. Speaking to Sky News Ms Crozier said the facility has affected the shopping strip “tremendously” with restaurants closing and syringes and blood are still on the streets, as well as a spate of antisocial behaviour.
