“There were 66 unprovoked shark attacks on humans worldwide last year.” Okay, I’ll bite (no pun intended): are there really “provoked” shark attacks?

How many people hit by cars? How many fell down stairs? How many slipped in the shower? BeAfraid ClickBait

Younger!!! Stupid people let your younger folks swim with the sharks or we are never going to get a Baby Shark joke that fits logically.

Another one....and people are still going to these beaches?!

your picture...... can you do a better job, a more accurate one and not an image taken from a shark week documentary

The ocean is not a humans personal swimming pool.

That’s their home. You’re in their kitchen. Prepare to be dinner if you choose to go in.

There is nothing you could do to get me to swim in the ocean in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Nope, sorry, not gonna happen!

I find the use of the word 'unprovoked' strange. Are there people who go out and deliberately provoke sharks to attack?

Everyone should learn basic first aid and basic trauma aid and carry a first aid kit with tourniquet and quick clot. Also add an AED to your family travel Med kit. You might just save family members life one day. Medics cannot ways respond quickly, especially off grid 👍

dammit, New Smyrna I actually like that beach quite a bit 🏖 😬 Cosmonaut_Scott

What is wrong with these people, it has been at least one shark attack per week last year there & some people still go for swimming or their parents take them there.

Reverse Sushi

Why people swim in New Smyrna is beyond me.

These old world fish are just now getting around to realizing that there is a food source off beaches. How else can anyone explain the increased frequency of attacks worldwide? Say climate change, and it can only mean more swimmers for the sharkies.
