The Manila top cop told the Senate that there must be a new law that would penalize school administrators criminally and administratively who will tolerate the recruitment of New People’s Army’s (NPA) of their students.

Manila Police District director Brig. Gen. Vicente Danao suggested the new law during the Senate inquiry after reported disappearance of young students allegedly recruited by leftist groups.

“If I may suggest, there should be a law that should be crafted penalizing these people, criminally and administratively,” he added.
