Personally, industry education through accredited learning. But I was a strip club DJ for 4 years. A lot of the girls I worked with were there to pay their uni fees. All of them are now retired, own their own homes, have good lives. Go figure 🤣

I have been to both... TAFE for sure.
It will depend on what you do in both, some fields had shortages of skills so pay will be higher, but it's not all about money, so do something you are passionate about, and you will be successful
