Randy soldier dismissed, in police custody for prosecution

Authorities of the Nigeria Army have handed over Soldiers suspected to have allegedly raped a student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko to the Ondo State Police Command for prosecution.

Before handing over the case to the police, it was learnt that the suspect, who was identified as Lance Corporal Sunday Adelola, has been dismissed from the service by the army.The Commander of the 32 Artillery Brigade Akure, Brig. Gen. Zakari Abubakar, has earlier promised to transfer the case to the police, after the alleged randy soldier must have been sacked and the investigation concluded.
