Nigerian undergraduate found dead, suicide suspected

Related News community on Saturday was thrown into mourning mood following the death of a final year student, Opeyemi Dara.

The News Agency of Nigeria learnt that she allegedly took her life following her poor academic performance, although the details of the incident were still sketchy. Ms Dara’s academic records obtained indicated that she had five outstanding courses and 12 Special Electives.When contacted, the Public Relations Officer of OAU, Abiodun Olarewaju confirmed the incident and promised that the institution would investigate and make its findings public.

“Some people in the past have passed through the same situation and circumstances and came out clean.

The academic union of the school should look into this because if Dara is as poor as that(5-outstanding, 12-elective courses ), her parents won't allow her to go to university talkless of OAU .There must be something hidden there.
