The move supposedly drew opposition from Chinese education group Dong Jiao Zhong. I learned it too. There should be more languages offered and I think it should be a choice. Forcing us to take up Jawi didn't make me like it but had just the opposite effect. Out of all the languages used in Malaysia..this did me no good whatsoever. Get real.
