Education Ministry says Islamic preacher Firdaus Wong did not touch on racial-religious sensitivities in talk at SMK Lunas.

The Education Ministry has clarified that there were no"subtle preaching" attempts made during a session by motivational speaker Firdaus Wong at SMK Lunas in Kulim, Kedah, earlier this month.

"Throughout the session by Firdaus Wong, there were no elements that touched on racial or religious sensitivities because the school had informed him on matters to be avoided to maintain harmony among teachers and students. It also added that the ministry had issued a circular to all school heads on guidelines for inviting speakers, to avoid raising doubts or create a sense of unease among teachers and students." going on in schools, in the wake of the talk by Firdaus, a student of controversial preacher Zakir Naik.

Firdaus, in his initial post, said students were split into two groups – with Chinese students in one group, and Malay and Indian students in the other.

Who is Firdaus? What qualifications does Firdaus have in character building? Why did the school let Firdaus speak to its students? How come the school did not invite MOE experts in character building to speak to its students?

Watch the converts. Many are fools that need to gain acceptance like that x Hindu fella.

This Chinese who has to go dark and make himself look like a Malay. Sad lah.

The worst kind of denial ever. Muslim teachers are preaching to non-Muslim kids nowadays. Bullshitting is our best policies. Keep Islamic preaching out of public schools. We already have mandatory Pendidikan Islam for Muslims.
