Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia vice-chancellor Mohd Hamdi Abdul Shukor says no directive was given barring Abdul Muein Abadi from writing about political issues.
“No directive about this was issued to him on the part of the vice-chancellor,” UKM vice-chancellor Mohd Hamdi Abdul Shukor told FMT. “I wrote based on official and credible reports, which I have also proven one by one, and not based on defamatory sources or fabrications as alleged by the prime minister’s adviser,” he added.
Seorang pejuang akan tegas dalam perjuangan. Larangan atau halangan tidak menghentikan perjuangan. Baru kena kritik sikit dah melantun. Tak ada larangan pun dikata ada yg suruh berhenti. Itu bukan sikap intelektual sejati. Dia sekadar orang yg berada dlm dunia akademik, sahaja.
