The prime minister said TVET will ensure that local youths and graduates will have the necessary skills that are much in demand within the country’s main industries. “TVET has an important role in helping our efforts to become a developed nation of equal status with other developed countries. It is not too much for TVET to be regarded as the key to the country’s future development.
Dr Mahathir added that graduates who undergo TVET have more than a 90 per cent chance of being employed by large corporations, including multinational companies.
