Senator Sherwin Gatchalian has filed a bill that seeks to raise the salary of public school teachers up to P30,000. | CMRamosINQ

Teacher II salaries, he said, would increase by P4,817 to P27,755 from the previous P22,938.

“Inadequate take-home pay for a majority of public school teachers has been a common complaint which is said to have led to their increased indebtedness,” Gatchalian said. He said that the starting salary schedule of Teachers I-III increased by an average of only 11 percent when accounting for the pay increase per SG level from the first tranche in 2016 to the fourth tranche in 2019.

CMRamosINQ hoping it will materialized and approved

No more tax increase please.

EpalGatchalian

CMRamosINQ Sana pati ibang health practitioners. And please, not everybody deserves a high raise, performance base dapat. Ang dami pinapagawang monotoring toolkit at development plan sa govt workers, sana binabasa at ineevaluate.

CMRamosINQ Saan kununin ang budget? Dagdag tax?

DrTonyLeachon CMRamosINQ About time sir stgatchalian

CMRamosINQ dapat sana sila parati ang priority!

CMRamosINQ Pacute bill.

CMRamosINQ Kasi boboto sila sa re-election mo, that's why.

CMRamosINQ San mo kukunin ung pondo?

natoreyes CMRamosINQ Naku sir saan nanaman natin kukunin pangtustos dyan. 🤦🏻‍♂️

CMRamosINQ Its a good idea, kaya lang kaya ng bulsa yan? Have you considered the implications, i.e. ang naging effect ng mag increase ang pension....

CMRamosINQ Salaries should be raised even hundred fold, the burden of their responsibility as 'mentors and tutors' unquantifiable. Good manners and right conduct, equated with value formation makes a nation great, which PH sorely lacks🤓🤔🙄
