A newly-built covered court in Sinubong National High School in Zamboanga City collapsed on Monday morning, injuring six students.

The students suffered minor injuries and were immediately rushed to the Labuan Public Hospital.

The students were in the middle of a class activity when the incident happened, as the roof caved in because of continuous rains for several days, according to some teachers. The court was turned over to the school last year, after it was completed at a cost of around P4 million.
