Education can be unifying tool, says USM professor

THE education system can be a major unifying tool for a society made up of people of various races, religions and culture, to live in harmony, while celebrating the diversity and sustaining the continuity of the nation for the future. Universiti Sains Malaysia vice-chancellor Prof Asma Ismail said education was an important tool for unity in a multi-ethnic nation like Malaysia.
