A sweet K-9 was honored with her own photo in a high school yearbook released last week.
Mya, a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois, posed for the picture that appeared on a page dedicated to the staff of Bryant High School in Bryant, Arkansas. Mya is a narcotics detection dog that helps keep the school safe along with Sergeant Paul Tarvin of the Bryant Police Department. "When we were looking for a dog for the school, we were original looking for a Lab," Tarvin told"Good Morning America.""Mya, she started out her life as a pet. She interacts with people well."Mya has been working with Tarvin since June 2018. The school yearbook staff contacted Tarvin when the year began to tell him that they wanted to include Mya in the yearbook, Tarvin said.
Mya's happy photo has now been shared all over the world. You can follow the pup on Instagram at @mya_hornetk9.
