The real issue is that the teacher did not put the children right when they jokingly made the salute, and instead disciplined a child who did her job for her and told them to stop. The salute is easily copied. It's meaning less easily grasped.
So much History,including WWII, why did the teacher focus on re-enacting Hitler and the Nazis? With Trump forcing America into a split, that choice seems provocative GOP-aligned and Divisive. Why not VE Day if he wanted a Europe event?

Is this a joke? There is an American school teaching the Nazi salute in 2019?
This headline is super misleading. The school was having the children roll play as Nazi’s for “living history”. The kids then started doing it on the playground and that’s when the child complained.
Why was an American school teaching Nazi salutes in the first place!? I know America elected a Nazi president, but still ...
That school should teach it’s pupils to do this salute
