Private school assistant head who drunkenly kissed pupil on train avoids teaching ban

An assistant head teacher at a private school was suspended after being filmed kissing a pupil on the train.

She was then placed on gardening leave until a disciplinary hearing concluded her dismissal from Merchant Taylor’s sixth form. But despite being dismissed from her post, she has been allowed to remain in the profession following a Teaching Regulation Agency hearing. Ms Clint stated that she had drank a lot on an empty stomach and kissing the boy was called ‘an error of judgement’ on her part.
