'At least two hurt' in gunfire at US high school as cops hunt 'up to three suspects'

THREE gunmen have stormed a school in Colorado injuring at least two people, US media reports.

STEM School Highlands Ranch near Denver is currently on lockdown as cops respond to the "unstable situation".The school - just eight miles from Columbine High School where 13 people were massacred 20 years ago - caters for children from kindergarten to Grade 12.Members of the public have been told the avoid the area and nearby schools have been placed on high alert.
