The Economic Freedom Fighters made a strong last push to get votes ahead of Wednesday’s election as thousands of supporters filled up Orlando Stadium in Soweto yesterday.
Malema, who lost his grandmother Sarah on Saturday in Seshego, Limpopo, said victory was certain and people should go out and vote for the EFF if they wanted real change. Malema said his party was fighting for equality for South Africans, including white people, and encouraged young white citizens to join the party.
“We are not fighting for black people to oppress white people, we are fighting for equality. We want economic freedom even for white people. We have a problem with older white people who do not want equality.”
