Mike Ene, the Secretary-General of the Nigeria Union of Teachers , says banditry in the North-East is morphing into another Boko Haram insurgency in the region and is creating a wide gap in education between the North and the South.
He said the activities of the bandits in the North-West, if unchecked, would affect education adversely.
The North is like a spoilt child whose father is the president and so feels that after all my father cannot disown me no matter what I do. The gap is getting wider and soon we may have no choice than to sing ' to your tent o' Is real ProfOsinbajo MBuhari renoomokri
It’s not banditry, it’s the north having ruled for many years refused to embrace education and liberate themselves from religious extremism
