Opposition leader Bill Shorten says if elected, Labor will fund universal preschool for three- and four-year-olds for 15 hours a week, 40 weeks a year.
Mr Shorten says Australia is not leading the world in terms of the education of children at an early age and that research shows early learning investment has a disproportionate benefits to accelerate learning opportunities at school. The Labor leader says his party will also put back the $14 billion that the Liberals promised in 2013 to public schools. Image: News Corp Australia
billshortenmp Can't wait to see how this rolls out...
billshortenmp You know what the test would be hook them up to lie detectors 😉
billshortenmp That’s because teachers are more worried about gender studies than reading and writing.
billshortenmp Does Australia need to lead the world in early learning when our Naplan results are falling? Seriously we need quality teachers not unionists who have not got a clue and lead children to protests. ScottMorrisonMP ausvotes
billshortenmp Well stop the leftists teachers sending kids to protest about something that happens anyway in nature
billshortenmp I don't often find common ground with BS, but he is right in saying we are not leading the world in the education of children (at any age), we are leading the world in the indoctrination of children by left wing educators enabled by BS & the Labor Party/Greens. AusVotes2019
billshortenmp And how is he paying for this
billshortenmp Australia is not leading the world in education, because teachers are too engrossed in creating activists.
billshortenmp Shorten is so fake.
