People are advised to take the MRT if they need to go to affected areas.

SINGAPORE – A number of bus services plying routes around the city will be diverted on two consecutive Saturdays – July 20 and 27 – due to the National Day Parade National Education Show 4 and the first preview of the NDP.

Services with stops along Bayfront Avenue, Beach Road, Esplanade Drive, Marine Boulevard, Raffles Avenue and Nicoll Highway will be among those affected. SBS Transit services that will be affected are 10, 14, 16/16M, 32, 51, 56, 57, 63, 70/70M, 80, 100, 107/107M, 111, 124, 130, 131, 133, 145, 166, 174, 195, 196, 197, 502, 851 and 851e.

SBS Transit said the affected services will be diverted in phases to alternative routes. It also advised commuters to plan their journeys and take the MRT if they need to get to the affected areas. The diversion will apply from the first to the last bus of the day. Go-Ahead Singapore services 36 and 518 will skip some stops from 8am to 11.59pm.
