Bill Shorten is campaigning in Perth, promoting Labor's $4 billion dollar childcare package. Mr Shorten visited Goodstart Early Learning in Nollamara, spriuking the plan that will see childcare costs reduced for households annually earning less than $174,000.
Childcare workers will also secure a 20 per cent pay rise over eight years if Labor wins next month's federal election. Mr Shorten also used the opportunity to attack the Liberals for agreeing to a preference deal with Clive Palmer, saying Labor will not work with him until Queensland Nickel Workers are paid their overdue entitlements.
