The most recent jobs report, which showed the U.S. added 206,000 jobs during the month of June, is the latest sign of a cooling but resilient labor market.
"Job seekers overwhelmingly prefer some level of remote work in their work schedules," said FlexJobs career expert Toni Frana. "We've seen over the course of the last year to a year-and-a-half, a lot of companies with return-to-office mandates," Frana said,"or adjusting the level of remote jobs that they offer."
"When you think about what we've seen lately in terms of the explosion of AI tools and the advancements in AI technology, I think that's why we're seeing many opportunities for remote work in these career fields," Frana said.
